The Trail Watch Program is seeking dedicated trail lovers.
Are you passionate about City trails? Do you enjoy spending time on them? If you answered yes to both questions, we hope you will consider becoming a Trail Watch Volunteer for the City of San Antonio. Trail Watch Volunteers turn their passion for trails into a service for the community.
NEW to the Trail Watch Program: We are expanding Trail Watch into our interior trails at McAllister, O.P Schnabel and Phil Hardberger Parks. Volunteers will learn from our Park Police how to react to criminal situations, procedures to follow, and emergency/non-emergency differentiation in addition to common trail concerns, trail safety/etiquette, and trail watch volunteer .
REQUIREMENTS:
- Volunteers must be 18 and older
- Volunteers should be friendly and outgoing
- Volunteers will be asked to donate at least four hours per month.
- Volunteers must complete the Trail Watch orientation for an overview of volunteer roles and trail safety.
