Join the San Antonio River Foundation, San Antonio River Authority, Parks and Recreation Department, Office of Mayor Ron Nirenberg, and City Council District 5, UTSA School of Business, for the City Council River Cleanup program.
Each month the San Antonio River Foundation and partners venture to a new cleanup location throughout all 10 city council districts in San Antonio.
This month we’re cleaning up Alazán Creek on April 19 from 9am-12pm!
All materials will be provided, including gloves, trash bags, and litter grabbers. Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes; we also recommend long pants, a hat, and sunscreen for extra protection.
Bring your reusable water bottles—we’ll have a water refill station available!
Complimentary water and coffee courtesy of City of San Antonio and snacks provided by Sprouts Farmers Market.
Stay 30 minutes or 3 hours, every minute makes a difference!
