Description

Join River Aid San Antonio at their new Eastside field office along the Salado Creekway, known as RASA Refuge. Connect with fellow environmental stewards as we plant, restore, and care for the land.

Volunteers will work alongside RASA staff and Volunteer Captains on targeted land management projects. This workday will focus on removing invasive chinaberry trees, clearing a fallen tree, and planting native seeds to help restore the local ecosystem.

Gloves, seeds, and tools will be provided.

Please bring a reusable water bottle and wear closed-toe shoes and long sleeves.

Timeframe: 10am-12:30pm

Parking: Volunteers may park along the street in the neighborhood. Please do not park in the RASA Refuge driveway.
