9/11 Day of Service is a Nationally recognized day of service encouraging millions of Americans to come together in the spirit of remembrance and giving back to their communities. Inspired by acts of kindness and good deeds following the 9/11 tragedy, Parks and Recreation is organizing a special day for volunteers to come together and transform the anniversary of 9/11 into a day of giving back.   

Families of all ages and abilities are welcome to help us clean up litter at Olmos Basin Park on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 9am-12pm. 

All materials provided, including gloves, trash bags, and litter grabbers.

Date: Saturday, September 10, 2022

Timeframe: 9am-12pm

Location: Olmos Basin Park, 651 Devine Rd. 78212

Meeting location: Olmos Basin Park Trailhead (enter from Dick Friedrich Dr.)
