Parks and Recreation, District 5 Council offices, River Aid San Antonio, and MetroHealth Healthy Neighborhoods have partnered up to offer shade trees to the residents of District 5, while promoting healthy lifestyles through strong community partnerships.
We’re looking for volunteers who can assist in variety of capacities including helping set up canopies and tables as well as take down of the event. In addition, volunteers can assist with a tree adoption, passing out information about volunteer programs, and other table activities as needed.
