Johnson grass is considered one of the 10-most noxious weeds in the world and we've got it in McAllister Park! Help us keep McAllister Park beautiful by slowing the spread of this terrible weed.
Duties for the event may include raking and bagging thatch, hand trimming seed heads, hand pulling or shoveling out underground rhizomes (tuberous roots).
When: Sunday, February 26, 2023
Timeframe: 10am - 11:30am
Where: Meet at Al Becken Pavilion in McAllister Park
Please bring your own gloves and reusable water bottle.
